LEAD

LEAD, a pre-reading, vocabulary, literacy based strategy, stands for list, experience activity, and discuss. It is a multifaceted, multistep strategy that greatly provides students a well-rounded understanding of vocabulary materials. It also is a way for instructors to assess students’ prior knowledge, relate material back to the unit of study or reading, and grants opportunities for students to participate in discussion.
