Predicting ABCs

 

The graphic organizer Predicting ABC’s is a literacy based strategy that demands students to come up with terms they think or predict will be in a future reading or relating to a specific topic. This strategy is similar to the ABC vocabulary strategy, but differs in that this graphic organizer challenges students to predict key concepts and terms they have heard before using prior knowledge. This could spark meaningful connections and be used a pre and post assignment.
