Riddle Me

The Riddle Me strategy is a vocabulary literacy based strategy with a plethora of variations and differentiation opportunities. Students are tasked to creatively write a poem that describes the given vocabulary word, key term, or concept without actually using the word. This could be done individually, in pairs, and under certain circumstances, the entire class. For social studies classrooms, an example topic could be: democracy, government, equality, election, etc.
